From the lake you can enjoy a walk or bike ride on the walking trail. The locals use the trailhead that starts at the softball complex and winds around to the lake. Huntington has a grocery store along with three convenience stores which provide gas and snacks while traveling.

Enjoy your stay by dining in our locally owned restaurants and if you would like to extend your stay with us there is a motel. Our city parks have pavilions with tables to picnic or have a family gathering. We have a water splash pad, skate park and playgrounds for the kids to enjoy. Huntington is the North entrance to the San Rafael Swell, home to the Little Grand Canyon or as locals call it “the desert”.

It is a great place for hiking, biking, sightseeing and four wheeling. Goodwater Rim is one of Utah’s must ride single track mountain bike trails and is located on the rim of Little Grand Canyon and is 26 miles East of town on the San Rafael Swell. Located right outside of Huntington is the Huntington Lake State Park which offers camping, fishing, boating, and paddle boarding and slack lining.
